Long-standing North Tampa CPA firm seeking an audit & accounting senior. Experience in performing audits, reviews, and compilations is required, and exposure to small business services is preferred. Experience with CIRAs, benefit plans, and non-profits is a plus. We offer a competitive salary, bonuses, PTO, and retirement and cafeteria plans.

Experience:

• audit, review, and compilation: 1 year (Required)

Responsibilities:

• Setup and closeout projects
• Review and process subcontractor and project material costs
• Bill projects accurately and timely
• Review project time cards, cost reports, and quantities
• Performs financial analysis and reconciliation of project costs versus project budget.
• Address project related issues as needed with construction management team
• Create and update project forecasts as needed.
• Correspond with TDOT offices related to State jobs.
• Assist Area Controller with month-end close

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Other degrees or relevant experience will be considered. CPA a plus.
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience. CPA firm or construction industry a plus.
• Strong proficiency and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel, and the ability to rapidly learn different software applications.
• Experience working with an ERP system, Oracle experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Highly detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives.
  
  Paid Holiday Shutdown period between Christmas and New Years in addition to 7 holidays

• Paid vacation – 2 weeks at 1 year; 3 weeks at 5 years; 4 weeks at 20 years of service.
