Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment and Academic Services, the new AVC will be responsible for financial aid and scholarship leadership for all undergraduate, graduate, and professional students at CU Denver. The AVC will have up to four direct reports and will lead a team of approximately 20 professionals charged with administering a financial aid program consisting of federal, state and institutional funds that exceed $280 million annually.

The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Financial Aid and Scholarships provides critical leadership, guidance, facilitation, coordination, oversight and evaluation of University strategic and optimized financial aid delivery. This position plays an integral part in ensuring the integrity and compliance of Title IV financial aid delivery for all students at CU Denver. A member of the Division of Strategic Enrollment and Student Success Management Leadership Team, this new leader identifies, builds and nurtures relationships with all levels within the university and with on and off campus colleagues to meet and exceed performance expectations. The successful candidate for this role will have extensive, diverse and progressively responsible administrative experience in higher education including significant work in financial aid and scholarships. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced graduate degree in higher education, business, public administration or a closely related field is preferred.

Compensation and Benefit Information
Compensation range: $140-150k annually
