Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated AI/Data Engineer with 2–10 years of experience in developing scalable AI-powered applications and modern data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, and Snowflake ETL development.

This role offers the opportunity to work across AI innovation, workflow automation, knowledge retrieval systems, and enterprise data platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

AI & LLM Engineering

1. Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
2. Build and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for enterprise knowledge retrieval use cases.
3. Develop advanced prompt engineering strategies to improve LLM accuracy, performance, and business relevance.
4. Implement AI workflow automation solutions to streamline business processes and operational workflows.
5. Support LLM fine-tuning, customization, and optimization for domain-specific applications.
6. Integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise systems and workflows.

Data Engineering & Snowflake

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
2. Build and optimize Snowflake-based data solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, validation, and loading.
3. Perform data wrangling, cleansing, enrichment, and transformation across structured and unstructured datasets.
4. Implement data quality checks, validation frameworks, and reconciliation processes.
5. Integrate data from multiple enterprise applications and external sources.

Vector Databases & Knowledge Retrieval

1. Develop and manage vector database solutions using Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Neo4j, Weaviate, or similar technologies.
2. Implement document ingestion, chunking, embedding generation, indexing, and semantic search strategies.
3. Design scalable knowledge retrieval architectures for AI-driven applications.
4. Optimize retrieval performance, relevance, and response quality.

Collaboration & Solution Delivery

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
2. Translate business challenges into scalable AI and data engineering solutions.
3. Ensure applications and data platforms meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
4. Support ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting, and optimization initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

AI / Machine Learning

1. Strong hands-on experience with Advanced Python Programming.
2. Experience working with LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar models.
3. Strong expertise in Prompt Engineering and AI workflow design.
4. Experience building and deploying RAG-based solutions.
5. Exposure to LLM fine-tuning, model adaptation, or customization techniques.
6. Hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as:

9. Semantic Kernel
10. Similar AI frameworks

Data Engineering

1. Strong data wrangling, transformation, and processing skills.
2. Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
3. Strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL and Snowflake ETL development.
4. Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and governance concepts.
5. Experience handling both structured and unstructured datasets.

Vector Databases & Search

1. Experience with one or more vector databases:
2. Pinecone
3. Chroma
4. Neo4j
5. FAISS
6. Weaviate
7. Knowledge of embedding models, semantic search, and retrieval optimization techniques.

Integration & Automation

1. Experience with REST APIs and backend service development.
2. Exposure to workflow automation and process orchestration.
3. Ability to integrate AI solutions into enterprise applications and business processes.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
2. Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring practices.
3. Experience with enterprise workflow tools and business process automation.
4. Exposure to HR, rewards, approval workflows, or operational automation systems.
5. Understanding of modern data architecture and cloud-native solutions.
