About the Role:

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits (SGWS) is seeking a Senior AEM Developer with strong Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expertise to join our dynamic, remote team. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our headless AEM platform, integrating content management systems (CMS) with digital asset management (DAM), and implementing product-specific requirements. This is a technical role ideal for professionals passionate about backend development and AEM platform optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Component Development:
  2. Build and enhance AEM components, with a focus on headless architecture.
  3. Structure content fragments and expose APIs for seamless integrations.
  4. Digital Asset Management (DAM):
  5. Manage and optimize workflows within AEM Assets.
  6. Ensure CMS and DAM integrations are efficient and scalable.
  7. Platform Optimization:
  8. Support the migration from traditional AEM components to a headless architecture.
  9. Collaborate on template-driven proof sites and adapt them for headless use cases.
  10. Project Execution:
  11. Implement product-specific features in Workfront and AEM Assets.
  12. Ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Technical Expertise:
  2. Strong backend development skills, with a focus on AEM.
  3. Proficient in building and managing headless AEM components, content fragments, and exposing APIs.
  4. Familiarity with DAM workflows and CMS-DAM integrations within AEM.
  5. Preferred Skills:
  6. Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React and Node.js is a plus.
  7. Experience with Workfront or similar platforms is advantageous.
  8. Experience:
  9. 5+ years of hands-on AEM development, preferably in a senior or lead role.
  10. Proven ability to work with enterprise-scale CMS and DAM platforms.
