Elmtree ABA Services, LLC provides in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Early Intensive Behavior Intervention (EIBI) services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) and their families. Behavior Technician

Behavior Technicians (BTs) provide direct therapy to clients in their homes, communities, and in a private school setting. BTs are supervised directly by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who can make learning fun while adhering to individualized teaching procedures. Candidates must have excellent professional communication skills and be reliable and punctual.

Specific responsibilities include,

• Providing direct therapy using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) in a 1:1 format across settings, as applicable
• Implementing programming under the direct supervision of a BCBA, Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA)
• Provide support and coaching to parents and caregivers
• Collecting and summarizing data on each objective in the client’s treatment plan
• Communicating efficiently, professionally, and positively with the client, their family and team, and other Elmtree ABA Employees.
• Physical requirements may vary with each client. Candidates must be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.

Qualifications

• Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
• Bachelor’s in education, psychology, or related field required
• At least 2 years of experience in ABA. Fluent with discrete trial teaching, incidental teaching, natural environment teaching, and data collection
• Reliable mode of transportation required
• Experience educating typically developing children (e.g., daycare, preschool), preferred
