Extract Labs is seeking a motivated and skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about web development and looking to grow their skills in WordPress site management. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating our website, implementing visual changes, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the site remains user-friendly and up-to-date with the latest web standards.

Responsibilities:

Update and maintain the Extract Labs website, ensuring all content is accurate and current.

Implement visual and functional changes to the website as directed, enhancing the user experience.

Work closely with the marketing and design teams to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.

Perform routine site maintenance, including updating WordPress themes, plugins, and core software to ensure high performance and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve any website issues or bugs promptly.

Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO.

Assist in the development and implementation of new website features and functionalities.

Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends, suggesting improvements when necessary.

Qualifications:

Proficient in WordPress, with experience in managing and updating websites.

Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

Familiarity with PHP and MySQL.

Experience with WordPress themes and plugins.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with non-technical team members.

A portfolio of previous work or projects demonstrating your skills and experience in WordPress development is highly desirable.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.

3+ years of relevant experience in web development or a related field.
