Our client, a leading medical organization based in southern CA, is seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications that support critical healthcare services. As a remote team member, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly and high-performing web solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites and web applications.
2. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.
3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern web development frameworks and languages.
4. Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability.
5. Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications.
6. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
7. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
8. Ensure compliance with web standards, accessibility, and security best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. 3+ years of professional web development experience.
3. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
4. Familiarity with back-end development using Node.js, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
5. Strong understanding of database management (SQL, NoSQL) and integration.
6. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
7. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in healthcare or medical software development.
2. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security standards.
3. Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal.
