As a Web Developer at BrownBoots Interactive, Inc., you’ll work closely with project managers, designers and content specialists to develop modern websites for our clients. We develop our sites on a LAMP stack and utilize several Content Management Systems including our proprietary CMS.

We have many development projects going at any given time. You may find yourself working on client projects, internal projects, and support requests. You will help lead our efforts to evaluate new technologies and techniques to keep our agency development process efficient and current.

Strong time management and communication skills will be key to work efficiently with our clients and our team.

Job Qualifications

Required skills:

1. HTML/CSS/Less or Sass/SCSS
2. JavaScript/jQuery
3. Bootstrap 3 or newer
4. PHP
5. SQL queries
6. Apache configuration
7. Linux/Unix command-line tools
8. DNS records, domain names, nameservers, etc.
9. server administration
10. Git
11. WordPress
12. semantic and accessible HTML markup

Preferred skills/experience:

1. npm, yarn, bower, or similar package managers
2. Grunt or similar task runners
3. Vue.js or similar frameworks like React or Angular
4. database administration in MySQL or similar
