Job Description:

What They’ll Do:

Content Creation & Management (60% of role)

  1. Video Editing: Edit 6-10 short-form videos (reels/TikToks) weekly
  2. I’ll send you raw footage via Google Drive
  3. Use CapCut, InShot, or similar apps
  4. Add captions, transitions, trending sounds
  5. Color correct and polish final product
  6. Turnaround: 24-48 hours after receiving footage
  7. Photo Editing
  8. Color correction and retouching in Lightroom/Snapseed/VSCO
  9. Crop and format for different platforms
  10. Maintain consistent brand aesthetic

Social Media Management:

  1. Write captions using AI tools like ChatGPT (I’ll teach you my process)
  2. Schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube using Buffer or Later
  3. Post daily Instagram/TikTok stories (I’ll send you content)
  4. Respond to DMs and comments on my behalf
  5. Track engagement metrics and report what’s working

Content Planning:

  1. Create weekly content calendars
  2. Research trending sounds, hashtags, and content ideas
  3. Suggest content concepts based on what’s performing well

Business Support (40% of role)

  1. Client Work (92+ Health beverage brand):
  2. Send 20-25 professional outreach emails per week to retail buyers
  3. Follow up with interested prospects via email
  4. Update CRM/Google Sheets with all activity daily
  5. Schedule buyer meetings when they respond
  6. Research and find new prospect contacts (grocery stores, retailers, etc.)
  7. Compile weekly outreach report

Account Management:

  1. Schedule and post 8 photos monthly with captions
  2. Simple social media management
  3. Administrative Tasks:
  4. Organize Google Drive (files, folders, footage)
  5. Track invoices and payments in spreadsheet
  6. Research modeling agencies and submit applications
  7. Research job opportunities and compile listings
  8. Schedule my appointments via calendar
  9. General inbox management and organization

Typical Weekly Workflow:

  1. Monday: Receive raw content footage from weekend/Monday shoots
  2. Monday-Tuesday: Edit all videos and photos
  3. Wednesday: Write captions (AI-assisted), schedule 2-3 weeks of content
  4. Wednesday-Friday: Client outreach emails, CRM updates, admin tasks
  5. Daily: Post stories, respond to DMs/comments (15-30 mins)
  6. Flexible: 15-20 hours/week, work on your own schedulePerfect For You If:
  7. Film, marketing, communications, or business major
  8. You’re active on TikTok/Instagram and understand content trends
  9. You can edit videos in CapCut, InShot, Premiere, or similar apps
  10. You’re organized and can manage multiple tasks independently
  11. You have strong written communication skills (for outreach emails)
  12. You want REAL experience in influencer marketing and brand management
  13. You’re self-motivated and don’t need constant supervision

Pay: $12-15/hour depending on experience

Hours: 15-20 hours/week (flexible, part-time)
