OVERVIEW
The Video/Media Content Quality Control Coordinator will be responsible for quality control of all NHL video and media content for its game broadcasts, websites and digital properties. Throughout the day and evening the coordinator will monitor multiple video feeds prior and during each active game looking for any issues related to the audio and video quality of the various digital properties & broadcasts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Leverage NHL monitoring tools and applications to monitor a minimum of 9 feeds per game each day/night.
Monitoring of feeds for each game prior to start and during all games.
Ensuring that video feeds are up and running.
Ensuring that video feeds are correct for partners/consumers.
Logging and reporting all audio and/or video issues to TOC and field technicians
Required to maintain regular communications with TOC and In-Arena technicians at all 32 arenas.
Verifying digital platforms are receiving proper content.
Listening to audio and ensure the proper audio is on the correct feeds and channels
Watch video to ensure that the image is not artifacting
Provide nightly report of issues.
Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Background in television broadcasting
Knowledge of hockey a plus
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent Written Skills
Position requires working nights, holidays, and weekends
Ability to work both in the NHL offices and remotely
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Salary Range for this role is $50K to $65K
