Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Umbraco Certified Developer to support the maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of Umbraco-based websites. This role focuses on working across both current and legacy Umbraco instances, delivering reliable, accessible, and mobile-optimized web experiences.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing priorities across multiple updates, and contributing hands-on technical expertise in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and enhance websites built on Umbraco, including older versions
• Build and optimize responsive, mobile-friendly web pages
• Implement front-end solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently
• Collaborate with design and content teams to deliver updates and improvements
• Ensure sites meet accessibility standards, SEO requirements, and usability best practices
• Monitor and improve website performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility

Qualifications

• Umbraco Certified Expert with hands-on experience across multiple Umbraco versions
• Demonstrated proficiency using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor and/or Claude Code
• Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Proven experience developing responsive, mobile-optimized web pages
• Solid understanding of website performance optimization and best practices
• Working knowledge of SEO, accessibility standards (WCAG), and usability principles
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience using design and developer collaboration tools such as Figma

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Experience with .NET and C# for custom Umbraco functionality
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Background working on freelance or agency projects managing multiple websites
• Experience with third-party marketing tools such as Pardot
