We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to design, develop, and support website development projects with a team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and working for website development in government agencies, Universities, or non-profits.

Responsibilities

• Creating visually appealing and user-friendly website designs and layouts.
• Conceptualize creative ideas, test and improve the design of websites.
• Establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Maintain the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
• Design visual imagery for websites and ensure that they are in line with branding for clients.
• Work with different content management systems (CMS).
• Communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
• Incorporate functionalities and features into websites.
• Prepare design plans and present website structures when needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ work experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role.
• Certifications in digital, web design or in a related field
• Must be able to demonstrate their design capabilities and experience.
• Proficiency in CMS tools, especially Drupal or WordPress.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 per year
