Job Description:

Are you a creative, results-driven Training Specialist ready to take on an exciting challenge? As a Training Specialist at Peoplelink Group, you will be at the forefront of our employee development efforts, designing and conducting training programs that set us apart in the staffing industry.

 

Compensation : $50k-$75k

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, Remote with travel.

 

How You’ll Do It

The Training Specialist designs and conducts training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of employees. They assess training needs, develop curriculum, and deliver training sessions in the appropriate medium to improve workplace performance.

  • Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers.
  • Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, feedback, and assessment of employees' skill or knowledge levels upon completion of training and produces objective measurements of training program performance.
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
  • Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, eLearning, and videos.
  • Administers the learning management system, maintaining records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.

What You’ll Bring

This is an experienced hire role, and you’ll need to bring 2-4 years of experience in learning and content development.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Open to travel 10-25% within our branch locations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Experience with learning management system, SCORM, or other eLearning software.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.

Physical Requirements : To successfully perform the duties of this job, the associate is required to have the ability and skills sufficient to interact with branch personnel, corporate personnel, and temporary employees in person, via phone, and via email. The associate must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand/eye coordination, arm/hand/finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read and write the application information. The staff associate is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
