About the Role


The Test Publishing Manager leads PSI’s team of Test Publishers responsible for the publication and management of test item content for Licensure and Certification clients. This role requires a combination of responsibilities for managing people and individual projects, approximately 50% management, 50% project
work. The person in this role is expected to have strong management skills combined with advanced training, expertise, and proven consulting skills in Test Publishing, content management, and project management for examination programs. This is a full-time permanent role, with flexible hours around core office availability M - F The role can be performed remotely, with occasional travel required for meetings, events and workshops.

 


  • Role Responsibilities
     People leadership for a team of Test Publishers, e.g. recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development etc.
     Develops and oversees test publishing project plans and provides support for proposals.
     Consults with staff and clients regarding Test Publishing processes and best practices.
     Interfaces with Test Development, Account Management, and Client Services teams for the implementation and maintenance of examinations.
     Develops staffing plans and assigns projects to team members to ensure milestones and deliverables are met with quality and efficient use of resources.
     Receives and triages ad-hoc internal or external client requests.
     Provides consultation to staff on project planning and implementation.
     Directs and implements continuous improvement of procedures and processes.
     Offers training of new and existing staff on updated software, procedures, and processes.
     Partners with direct reports and engages with other staff to foster exceptional and productive internal and external relationships; resolves differences and conflicts in a constructive manner.
     Monitors and continuously adjusts the application of staff resources to ensure quality and efficiency, using metrics and dashboards.
     Reports on test publications activity, resources and expenses.
     Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
     Education to Bachelor’s degree level preferred.
     3-5 years’ experience in test publishing or content management required. Experience in Licensure and Certification testing industry preferred.
     5 years of experience in team management is required
     Experience in handling multiple projects required.
     Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications required.
     Skill using data entry tools and spreadsheets, and experience in SQL Server Management Studio.
