About The Role

We are looking for a contract Technical Sourcer to partner with our recruiting team and hiring managers to build strong, diverse pipelines for engineering and technical roles. You will own the top of the funnel: identifying, engaging, and qualifying passive candidates so that recruiters and interview teams can focus on closing. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who loves the hunt and knows how to get busy engineers to reply.

Type: Contract (3 to 6 months, with potential to extend or convert)

Responsibilities

1. Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, team context, and ideal candidate profiles.
2. Build and execute creative sourcing strategies across LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, niche communities, and Boolean and X-ray search.
3. Generate qualified, diverse candidate pipelines for roles such as software engineering, data, infrastructure, security, and platform.
4. Write personalized outreach that earns responses and reflects our employer brand.
5. Conduct initial screens to assess technical fit, motivation, and logistics before handing candidates to recruiters.
6. Track pipeline activity and keep the ATS clean and current.
7. Report on sourcing metrics including response rates, conversion, and pipeline health, and adjust tactics based on the data.
8. Share market insight on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitor movement.

Qualifications

1. 2 or more years of sourcing or recruiting experience, with a meaningful portion focused on technical roles.
2. Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates, including hard-to-find or senior profiles.
3. Comfort understanding technical role requirements well enough to qualify candidates without hand-holding.
4. Excellent written communication and a track record of high outreach response rates.

6. A self-directed, organized working style suited to a contract engagement.
