Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer with 5+ years of application development experience and strong expertise in JavaScript and React. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-quality, user-centric mobile applications and has a strong foundation in frontend development.

You will play a key role in modernizing our mobile platform by developing a new React Native application, reimplementing existing features, and continuously enhancing the product based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a React Native mobile application to replace the existing app
• Reimplement and modernize existing functionality with improved architecture and performance
• Take ownership of major areas of the codebase, including:
• Architectural decisions
• Implementation patterns
• Long-term maintainability
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to:
• Understand requirements
• Refine user stories
• Prioritize features
• Design and implement scalable, high-quality UI/UX solutions
• Integrate and work with RESTful APIs
• Participate in Agile development processes, including:
• Sprint planning
• Daily stand-ups
• Retrospectives
• Follow best practices such as:
• Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Code reviews
• Clean, maintainable code standards
• Communicate proactively regarding:
• Progress updates
• Risks and blockers
• Proposed solutions
• Work effectively in a remote-first, collaborative environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application development
• Strong proficiency in:
• JavaScript
• React / React Native
• HTML & CSS
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade mobile applications
• Solid understanding of:
• Modern React patterns (Hooks, state management)
• Component-based architecture
• Strong UI/UX thinking, with ability to:
• Interpret user stories
• Propose intuitive design solutions
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to:
• Analyze complex, cross-functional requirements
• Deliver effective, scalable solutions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript
• Background in Web/Mobile Design
• Familiarity with Docker or Podman
• Experience with:
• App Store Connect
• Google Play Store deployment and management
