Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. The Applications team is looking for a Gray Box Software QA Engineer to work on the next generation of application/services. This position requires an ambitious individual with strong creative and analytic skills who can contribute in a diverse team environment.

Key Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Application and Web testing
  • Experience with API testing
  • Programming/test automation skills in any of the following languages - Python, Javascript, Swift, or equivalent
  • Familiar with Server Architecture
  • Comfortable with using and maintaining test scripts to improve workflow
  • Proven bug detection and bug isolation skills
  • Familiar with the SQA requirements and demands of a full product cycle
  • Strong hands on experience with QA methodologies, or prior QA experience
  • Ability to adapt in a high-paced and informal environment
  • Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering
  • Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution
  • Outstanding communication skills for collaborating across many participating teams
  • Analytical, methodical and creative problem solver committed to driving quality forward

Description

You will be responsible for crafting, implementing, and executing test plans and test suites based on specification documents and access to databases. You will also ensure the successful delivery of a quality product by performing ad-hoc and structured tests.

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
