Job Description:

Roof Maxx is looking for a full-time Social Media Coordinator to help with the growth of our national brand. This position is fully remote and open to anyone in the United States. This comes with the expectation that your work day would be 8:00-5:00 Monday through Friday.

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in creating and managing content across various social media platforms. To excel in this position, you must have exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be able to multitask efficiently and possess a strong understanding of the latest social media trends and best practices. Past experience in the home services industry is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing company social media channels, which could include Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms. We are a Facebook heavy company, so the knowledge of the ins and outs of this platform on a business level is of utmost importance.
  • Assist in developing, implementing organic content strategy and creating an editorial calendar with this content.
  • Engaging with customers on social media in a polite fashion.
  • Monitor and respond to all social media inbox messages and notifications.
  • General understanding of maintaining a brand voice on social media platforms.
  • Create and connect Facebook pages for new businesses within our dealer network.
  • Assist in planning a marketing Facebook Group strategy for our dealers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and content team to ensure the organic social media strategy is on track.
  • Create eye-catching, appealing and relevant images that go along with the content posted to social media.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices.
  • Monitor organic content analytics for reporting to Marketing Manager.
  • Integrate with our paid media partner.

Skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or related field.
5 years of experience in social media management.
Excellent knowledge on all social media platforms - most importantly Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn - TikTok is a huge plus.
Experience with Reels and IG/Facebook Stories.
Facebook Creator Studio and Business Suite experience.
Communication, writing, editing and storytelling skills with a strong sense on how to communicate to our target audience.
Graphic design experience - Adobe Creative Suite preferred, as well as Canva.
Familiar with project management and CRM platforms such as Asana, Slack and Hubspot.
Maintains a personal social presence on any or all of the mentioned social media platforms (Facebook is important).
Understanding of Google Drive and all Google products.
Previous experience with Zoom.
Video or photo editing a plus (Capcut or other).
Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, friendly and collaborative.
