We're looking for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist to help our clients perform in organic search results.


PMP provides marketing and web services to law firms across the country. From Broadcast TV and Paid Search to Streaming, Website Management and everything in between, we have the tools to help law firms reach their clients. Our mission is to help law firms grow.


The successful candidate will analyze, review, and implement changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. The ideal candidate is hard-wired to solve problems and can't stand underperfomance.


This role offers an opportunity for a hungry, entrepreneurial technical specialist to make a big impact in a dynamic industry vertical. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Digital and will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for our organic search services.


Responsibilities
 

  • Executing SEO strategies according to Google's Best Practices (white hat tactics)
  • Implement SEO tactics on a portfolio of clients. SEO tactic to include, but not limited to:
    • Backlinking - Being able to analyze backlink opportunities and build/acquire white hat back-links on behalf of the clients in your profile
    • Citations (managing existing listings, identifying new opportunities and creating new listings)
    • Directories
  • Keep abreast of most recent search engine algorithm changes
  • Monitor and measures metrics for SEO success and the ability to report results to clients
  • Manage tactical SEO initiatives including on-site optimizations, keyword analysis, web content development, link-building, site auditing and competitive analysis
  • Implementation of approved delivery to enhance SEO ranking and visitor conversions

Qualifications
 

  • 3-5+ years of SEO experience, principles and optimization variables
  • Be passionately in tune with latest SEO algorithm updates, online behavior and trends
  • Experience with Advanced SEO guideline, tracking/reporting tools, algorithms, analysis and ranking factors
  • Proficient in HTML
  • Proficient in Webmaster tools and Google Analytics
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally
  • Effective team player, able to work with others on a project.
  • Enjoys problem solving and can adapt to new technologies
  • Experience in link building campaigns and the ability to interpret data


Education
 

  • BA or BS preferred
