Job Overview

Local Zoom is a Local SEO-focused marketing agency providing solutions for local search visibility to a variety of industries, with a large clientbase in the Cannabis space. In this role, you will work closely with the SEO Director to effectively and proactively manage client accounts, lead regular communications, and produce monthly reports.

Above all, we are looking for someone with a passion for helping small businesses grow online, and “wow”-ing them with hard-earned results. We achieve extraordinary results for small and medium sized businesses through the application of SEO expertise and technology, combined with a deep understanding of their business and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Proactively manage a growing list of 20 client accounts and 50+ locations.
2. Facilitate regular communication with clients, demonstrating a strong understanding of subject matter.
3. Competently complete a 100-Point SEO Optimization List for new clients, carrying out tasks as necessary.
4. Proficiency or willingness to learn and master cutting edge SEO tools (AHRefs, SEMRush, LocalViking, etc)
5. Coordinate with and delegate tasks to sub-vendors and contract workers for specific objectives.
6. Demonstrate our value to clients on a monthly basis through comprehensive reporting and insights.
7. Learn and execute fundamental SEO tactics such as keyword research, link building, link outreach, web design, and more as needed.
8. Graduate to a level of understanding capable of analyzing client SEO needs and tactics from onboarding.

Qualifications

While experience in SEO is preferred, a healthy understanding of the discipline combined with a desire to learn quickly is acceptable. Experience working with and managing Google Business Profile(s) in particular is a major plus. Basic Wordpress or similar CMS website building/editing experience necessary.

Our approach is less based on link building and content marketing (although our clients receive monthly blogs), and instead focused on client Google Business Profiles

Specific qualifications include:

1. Wordpress or similar CMS editing proficiency.
2. Understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) as a discipline in general.
3. Experience in Local SEO & Google Business Profiles (GBP) desired.
4. Superior organization skills.
5. Strong email cadence and overall communication skills.
6. Passion to learn SEO and grow in an agency environment.

Hours & Location (Remote)

While the agency is based in Las Vegas, NV and Los Angeles, CA - this position is remote. This is a 40 hour/week full time position, and you will be working from roughly 9am-5pm each day. There will be daily check-ins from the SEO Director and a team meeting weekly. We will use a desktop app to track hours and task efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,034.57 - $65,457.53 per year
