For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $165,000 – $230,000 annually

Responsibilities

1. Scale data processing and storage systems from terabytes to petabytes
2. Build and maintain real-time integrations with numerous EHRs
3. Enhance core systems to enable 100x growth in users
4. Oversee cross-functional projects from design to successful launch
5. Collaborate with engineering leaders and product managers to meet engineering goals

Qualifications

1. 5+ years experience in software engineering focusing on scalable back-end systems
2. Deep knowledge of storage systems, cloud-native services, Kubernetes, AWS, and PostgreSQL
3. Familiarity with common DevOps tools and practices
4. Understanding of quality and security engineering principles
5. Strong vision for software and engineering excellence
6. Advanced systems-level thinking in distributed systems
7. Outstanding communication skills for technical concepts and business needs
