Senior Salesforce Engineer (Commerce Cloud) - 100% Remote - 12 month contract to hire

Optomi, in partnership with a Fortune 200 global hospitality company, is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer with experience with Commerce Cloud to join our team. This team will be working closely with B2C Commerce engagements focused on Salesforce OMS and third-party integrations within a new Salesforce org. You will be instrumental in setting up and leading a team, working closely with the retail business team, and collaborating with external service providers to implement Commerce Cloud. You will take on a leadership role as the primary point of contact as additional members are brought on board.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience developing highly customized applications using Lightning Web Components for Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ECMAScript development
• Experience integrating Salesforce.com with external systems
• Active Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification
• Technical leadership experience is desired

Technical Environment: Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ECMAScript, Salesforce OMS, PWA Kit, Dynatrace, Splunk

We Will Be Putting a High Emphasis On:

• Leadership abilities, as the engineer will be the sole team member initially and will need to drive design and implementation independently.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details to business stakeholders and vice versa.
• Building e-commerce solutions with a Salesforce Composable Storefront architecture
