Minimum Qualifications for Senior Planner:
• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Four years of professional planning or closely related experience, including some experience with the management of planning projects.
• Must possess or have ability to obtain within first sixty days of employment and must maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications for Sr. Planner:
• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field.
• Historic Preservation experience
Minimum Qualifications for Principal Planner:
• 5 years of professional planning experience.
• One year experience in the management of complex planning projects.
• Must possess and maintain certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners.
Preferred Qualifications for Principal Planner:
• Experience working in a municipality or other public entity.
• Historic Preservation experience
Salary: $75,843.00-$123,498.82
