Airparts is a family-owned wholesale aviation parts company experiencing tremendous growth. We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to help us design, develop, and maintain our next-generation of websites and tools.

We host our website written in PHP on Heroku with CI/CD from GitHub. We use AWS for image and document storage. The website interfaces with our legacy ERP written in Business Basic for company data. With a rapidly growing user base and a new ERP on the horizon, we are experiencing growing pains.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, is eager to learn, and works well in a team. You must be comfortable offering technical insight, and taking the initiative to lead on new innovations and projects.

Salary

$80,000/yr

+Yearly bonus based on company performance (Ranges from $1-3k)

Responsibilities

• Design systems that streamline work for employees, customers, and developers
• Document changes, fixes, and improvements
• Identify performance and accessibility bottlenecks in website
• Offer ideas about new ways we can improve our workflow, stack, and customer experience
• Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish

Team

• Our senior web programmer is a seasoned expert with over 20 years of experience building and maintaining the backbone of our systems around our legacy ERP. His in-depth knowledge of aviation and Airparts' specific needs makes him an invaluable asset to our team.
• Our technical lead is a member of the family who has been instrumental in modernizing Airparts' technology infrastructure. With a strong technical background, they oversee contracted programmers, write technical documentation, and effectively communicate technical details to stakeholders.
