How you will make an impact:

  • Assign and edit educational content for auto, home, life, pet and health insurance.
  • Manage and mentor vertical editors in editorial and SEO best practices.
  • Work closely with a large team of talented freelance writers to help them understand Insurify's content style and sourcing requirements.
  • Apply your content-creation and SEO expertise to identify keyword opportunities for new content, and to optimize existing content.
  • Collaborate with our design team to ideate and execute graphic elements like charts and tables to enhance reader-value of our content.
  • Ensure all content levels to Insurify's editorial calendar, and supports overall editorial strategy.

Who you are:

  • A passionate and precise editor with at least three years of experience editing SEO content in the insurance or personal finance spaces.
  • An editor who's adept at researching topics and writing content briefs that provide freelance writers with a strong foundation for building successful, educational content.
  • Have at least two years of experience managing or co-managing writers or associate editors.
  • Apply a copy editor's scrutiny and zeal to all content you edit.
  • A collaborative leader who thrives on helping teammates develop their content-creation skills.
  • A content creator who has empathy for the key pain points that drive consumers to insurance shop, and can edit copy to communicate that empathy to readers
