Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $115 – $120/hr

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time remote basis. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on AWS environments. You’ll be working across teams to support application deployment, improve site reliability, and ensure smooth operations through best-in-class DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain and improve CI/CD processes for existing applications
• Ensure development deliverables meet deployment standards and contain complete documentation
• Partner with Cloud Infrastructure teams to configure software stacks in AWS and assist with knowledge transfer to operations
• Apply AWS Operational Excellence best practices in close collaboration with operations teams
• Build and enhance observability using SRE tools to improve system reliability and scalability
• Document all processes, designs, and procedures in detailed technical documents
• Coordinate with operational and project managers to align timelines and deliverables

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in automation and DevOps, including pipeline design and release management
• Strong hands-on experience with tools such as Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, Terraform, Artifactory
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including ECS Fargate, RDS, Secrets Manager, CloudFormation
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, Perl
• Experience with containerization, infrastructure automation, and configuration management
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Strong team player, self-motivated and proactive
• Familiar with network protocols and orchestrated infrastructure environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS monitoring tools like X-Ray, CloudWatch, Elasticsearch
• Background in implementing automated security controls, governance, and compliance checks
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps and SRE methodologies

Pay: $115.00 - $120.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
