Who You Are

We’re looking for an exceptional senior-level copywriter with a proven track record, working in-house at a financial institution, having a background in advertising, or preferably both.

We’d like to see an online portfolio that includes long and short-form executions plus campaigns as this role requires expertise in both. We work with various types of content – from social media to white papers.

The perfect candidate will have more than a knack for knocking out intelligent copy that consistently delivers results. They need to understand the dynamics of campaigns and know the difference between executions and ideas. A strong command of language is obvious, but will also be able to interpret creative briefs, understand strategy and the role it plays, and easily translate analytics to create more powerful pieces.

We create content for various brands with various targets to navigate, so we’re looking for someone ready to learn and easily flexible, as the environment can be fast-paced.

What You'll Do

• Interpret creative direction and transform creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
• Think outside the box to create smart content that pushes the boundaries and helps us break into new segments
• Collaborate creatively with art directors and designers to brainstorm ideas and concepts of marketing and advertising
• Communicate clearly and rationally as you present concepts
• Deliver creative, compelling copy across multiple channels, including but not limited to social media, print, digital, video, long-form written blogs, and articles.
• Ensure all copy produced meets the brand’s style and tone of voice of the brand written for, as well as adhere to compliance, legal, IP, and other requirements
• Proof-read copy for other members of the business, for both grammar and style
• Update and adjust content where needed to ensure it stays relevant
• Master the different market segments and personas we target

What You'll Need

• Financial experience is a major plus
• 10+ years of experience as a copywriter
• Online portfolio with a diverse set of campaigns and ads
• Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Portfolio school certification a plus
