Full-time Security Officers

Job Summary:
Our Security Officers function within a “team” environment to ensure the protection of The Lakes Country Club’s members, guests, assets and property. Each Security Officer maintains the highest degree of ethical standards while promoting and enforcing a safe and secure community environment. Security Officers shall maintain general computer skills, strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to function and effectively lead other staff, members and community visitors during all types of physical emergencies. The Security Department functions on a 24-hour basis, 365 days per year. All officers must realize this fact and know there may be times when it becomes necessary to move a team member from their accustomed shift as business demands.
Essential Job Functions that contributes to the successful performance of this position:

Effectively monitor and protect The Lakes Country Club assets through effective community patrol and access control operations at all gates, storage areas, associate work areas, clubhouses and parking areas. Maintain proper daily and incident documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness and professionalism. Remain able to administer first aid as needed and facilitate additional medical care through use of the 911 emergency system. Set a positive example for professional and hospitable member /guest relations, effectively respond to and handle all member /guest issues and complaints with appropriate documentation to the Security Director. Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction beyond member /guest expectation. Continuously strive to improve in all areas of service performance.

Skills and Knowledge:

Knowledge of Access Control and Community Patrol operational procedures to include basic emergency response operations highly suggested. Strong customer and associate relation skills, strong communication skills, effective conflict management, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required. Hospitality continues to remain the core of our service and prior country club, hotel or resort experience is definitely desired.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

It remains the Security Officers’ personal responsibility to maintain a valid CPR, AED and Basic 1stAid certification, as well as maintenance of a valid guard registration card and any requirements associated by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS). A valid driver license is required.

Salary $17.85 per hour
