The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) will provide quality Mental Health Skill-Building services to adults who suffer from mental illness and lack basic living skills. The QMHP will create a specialized treatment plan with goals specific to the client’s needs, with an emphasis on managing and controlling psychiatric symptoms and establishing consistent medication management. In addition, The QMHP will provide client training and support to reinforce functional skills as well as activities of daily living that will enable the client to achieve and maintain community stability and independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment.

This position reports directly to the Clinical Supervisor

What is required for our employees

• Possess QMHP-A registration through the Virginia Board of Counseling
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the Human Services field
• One year of clinical hands on experience
• Flexible work schedule
• Valid Virginia Driver’s License
• Must have personal and reliable transportation
• Provide Proof of Auto Insurance
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
• Caring and compassionate professionals with a passion for helping others!

Expected hours: 20 per week
