This position is being offered by Paramount Public Adjusters, which is a Public Insurance Adjusting company based out of Montana. We handle insurance claims primarily in Montana, but we also service Idaho, Utah, Texas, Georgia and New Jersey.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has a majority of the attributes listed below. We are a company that deals a lot with Client communications and insurance companies, so there must be a healthy balance of these traits in the ideal candidate.
The skills of an ideal candidate are listed below. We don’t expect people to know everything, and are willing to teach the ideal candidate what they need to know, so that they are equipped to properly carry out their duties, but there are some prerequisites that we would like our ideal candidate to have.
The duties of this position are not very difficult, they just take time and attention to detail to complete. Most of the tasks associated with this position are centered around administrative duties. The duties listed may change as this role develops over time, but we will always fairly compensate for changes in job duties.
The Schedule for this position is a full-time position. As a 1099 Contractor, we are not to set your working hours or availability, but we expect you to communicate your availability and be available for common claim questions and updates during normal business hours.
The Compensation for this position is based on a commission scale, which is listed on the back of this description. You will be paid as a 1099 Contractor, and will be required to maintain all insurances, tax documentation, and expense tracking as such. You will be provided with a company email and file storage, but will be expected to bring your own equipment to complete the duties of this position (computer, phone, car, etc.) A Subcontractor agreement will be presented to you for signature upon hire.
The compensation package for this contracted position will be 30% of new money on claims assigned, or 40% of new money on claims sold and negotiated by the contractor. (Negotiable after trial period.)
Our Culture is one of honesty, teamwork, integrity and ambition. We want to be a company that is always honest, ambitious and completes work in a way that upholds integrity. The company also needs to grow, but we know it can’t do that if the people running the business can’t express and help change the company from within.
Our Clients are always First. We defend our clients from large corporations, and oftentimes those large corporations are holding our client’s homes and funds hostage. We not only need to put our Clients first, but need to educate them while we do so. Our clients are not insurance experts, that’s why they hire us! We need to prioritize them and their questions. Most of the time, we see them in a very stressed and angry state, which can cloud their judgment and make things complicated. Our priority is to address the issues they have, and teach them along the way.
When it comes to boundaries, we know them well and encourage them! We know you have a life, and a family. Family comes first, and to have a good work life balance, you need to be able to balance both! At Paramount Public Adjusters, we don’t want you to slave over a job, or to limit your life because of a job. You have things you need to do, and we respect that.
Communication is KEY! We need communication internally and externally. We need to know your strengths and weaknesses, your struggles and hurdles. We want to equip you with the best resources and knowledge we can to allow you to properly carry out your role, but we can’t help if we don’t know what you need! This also applies to other aspects of the job. If you need help, ask! If you need better tools or training, ask! If you need to leave early, just let us know!
Growth is important to us. Not only the growth of the company, but YOUR growth! Here at Paramount, we understand that everyone sees things differently, and may have different experiences that can shed light on a situation from a different perspective. We encourage you to voice your opinions, point out weak spots in the business, and voice your concerns. The people who do the work can see the issues. Why not get to the source?! We do have one rule in this area, which is Try to address an issue by presenting a solution. If you are noticing a problem, and you can see the solution, bring it up! If there is a problem, and you can’t see a solution, see if you can find a solution that’s outside the box!
We expect each member of our team to own their role. This means that if you see an issue with something in your area, you have the power to fix it! Your role is YOUR role, you have the power to change things in your role to make it easier!
At Paramount, we don’t like complicated. We don’t like to over engineer. We encourage our team members to reduce the complexity of their role, reduce the amount of time spent on needless tasks or items. The less we have to keep track of and manage, the better!
Expectations need to be set to ensure that we are all on the same page. We like to be clear and concise with our expectations to keep things simple and clear. Here are the expectations set forth for this position.
Respectfully,
Keoni Momohara, CEO
Paramount Public Adjusters
