AVID Engineering LLC is a growing mechanical engineering consulting firm located in Broomfield, Colorado. The company originated in Canada in 1999 as Quality Engineered Solutions Ltd. and expanded to the United States in 2017. American operations are under the AVIDname.

We are looking for a full time Professional Mechanical Engineer to lead our MEP projects throughout Colorado and the United States. Broad experience in commercial and institutional ventilation and plumbing design is a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and institutional MEP projects.
• Design/Design Review of ventilation, plumbing and hydronic systems.
• Client Liaison.

Skills

• Experience with HVAC and plumbing for commercial buildings (schools, warehouses, hotels, condominiums, townhomes, etc.) and high-end residences.
• Must understand systems such as hydronic heating, cooling, DX cooling, heat pumps, snow melt and in-floor heating .
• Must know how to size and select fan coils, AHU's, RTU's, boilers, pumps, size ductwork and diffusers.
• Extensive computer-aided drafting (CAD) experience.
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
• Degree in Engineering
• PE Status is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
