Pediatric Hospitalist - Leadership Position

 

The Pediatrix San Antonio pediatric hospitalist group is searching for a dedicated medical director to join a busy practice providing coverage at Methodist Children's Hospital.


MCH is a 202-bed hospital that offers outstanding pediatric services in many specialty areas including pediatric heart surgery, pulmonology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, newborn and pediatric intensive care, oncology and emergency services.

  • Cover Peds floor and newborn nursery
  • Mixture of day and night shifts
  • Circumcisions a plus, but not required
  • Practice Medical Director provides professional leadership to the practice and the hospital in carrying out its patient service and research activities.
  • Practice Medical Director serves as a liaison between the practice, company, and hospital
