Job Title: PACS/RIS Implementation Engineer – Diagnostic Imaging Software (Healthcare IT)

Contract: 18-month Contract

Location: Remote (with occasional travel)


About the Role

We’re seeking a Healthcare Implementation Engineer to join our Diagnostics team, focusing on PACS/RIS integration, radiology workflow implementation, and technical software support for mission-critical healthcare environments. You’ll play a key role in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting imaging software solutions across customer systems in hospitals and diagnostic centers.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and validation of diagnostic imaging and healthcare applications on client environments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with project teams to deliver seamless integration of PACS, RIS, EMR, and radiology workflow solutions
  • Provide Tier II/III support for production systems, including Windows, SQL, IIS, Active Directory, and network components
  • Analyze logs and network traffic to resolve application stability and performance issues
  • Conduct on-premise server/workstation installs with high attention to healthcare security and compliance standards
  • Actively contribute to documentation, process improvements, and internal training


What We’re Looking For

  • 3 + years in healthcare IT support, software implementation, or systems integration
  • Hands-on experience with PACS/RIS systems (e.g., Visage, GE, Philips, Agfa)
  • Strong background in Windows stack troubleshooting (Windows Server, IIS, SQL, AD)
  • Working knowledge of radiology workflows, EMRs, and clinical systems
  • Experience with SQL query writing, system performance tuning, and diagnostics
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical conversations with customers
  • Availability for on-call support rotations (24/7 occasional) and limited travel


Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with HL7, DICOM, and imaging standards
  • Background supporting Nuance or similar diagnostic software platforms
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or healthcare IT a plus
