Job Description:

Hotel McCoy is seeking a creative, strategic, and meticulous leader to join us as a Marketing Manager. This is a full-time remote role with occasional travel to our properties in Arizona, Washington, and Texas.

This presents a unique opportunity for a marketing professional who seeks a prominent role in driving our brand strategy. We're looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented, thrives on meeting deadlines and KPIs, leverages their strengths, and is unafraid to collaborate with other experts to maximize ROI. Additionally, a passion for travel and a love for staying in hotels is a big plus.

As the Marketing Manager, you'll be at the helm of our team of Creative Managers and a roster of consultants and freelancers responsible for overseeing Hotel McCoy's marketing, events, and art programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a geographically dispersed team of Creative Managers and Coordinators (currently three in number).
  • Assigning copywriting and design projects to our talented consultants and freelancers as needed.
  • Collaborating with each property's Creative Manager to conceptualize, promote, and execute diverse events, ranging from live music and Taylor Swift SINGO to art festivals, wine tastings, swim-with-a-mermaid experiences, Mario Kart tournaments, Bob Ross Paint & Sips, and more (the sky is the limit around here).
  • Taking ownership of the strategy, implementation, and results of email marketing, OTA marketing, digital marketing, print advertisements, social media marketing, and website marketing/experience (basically all the marketing, hence the job title!).
  • Managing social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and shaping content creation strategy.
  • Overseeing Hotel McCoy's Commission-Free Art Program and mural curation.
  • Actively promoting our company and its programs within the media and local community.
  • Building and nurturing relationships, as well as managing partnerships with local governments, associations, and nonprofits.
  • Curating and managing Hotel McCoy gift shops.
  • Developing and implementing engaging, locally inspired Food & Beverage programs.

You'll have access to the following resources:

  • A creative team, including a dedicated Creative Manager or Coordinator at each property to support events, content creation, social media, and art curation.
  • A roster of consultants and freelance experts in brand strategy, graphic design, and copywriting.
  • Project management tools and support through Monday.com.
  • Company equipment and covered travel expenses.

We're looking for individuals who possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Marketing, Public Relations, and/or Social Media.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn tools like Monday.com, Canva, and other relevant technologies.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring that there are no misspelled words or issues with guest experiences on our website.
  • Strong expertise in Meta Business Manager and both organic and paid social media strategies.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Excellent writing skills (as you'll need to maintain our brand voice) and basic design skills (using Canva for smaller assets, with Adobe as a bonus).
  • Self-motivation, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and exceptional organizational abilities, all while maintaining a sharp focus on details and follow-up.
  • The ability to lead and empower your team effectively, including training entry-level marketing and events managers.
  • Flexibility to travel when required, especially for larger-scale events that you plan.
