United We Reach, Pakistan

United We REACH (UWR) is a San Jose-based nonprofit organization focused on promoting educational equality for children from socioeconomically stressed backgrounds. We use scripted instruction and a technology-based delivery system to help schools serving low SES communities.

We are looking to hire a highly skilled Marketing Director who will lead the marketing efforts of United We REACH. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for promoting our organization’s operations and offerings, and identify what potential partners want so the organization can create more. Our ideal candidate will have considerable marketing experience and be able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others. Job Purpose:

To lead the marketing efforts of United We REACH – Pakistan. The Marketing Director will develop and implement strategies and campaigns to strengthen the organization’s presence locally and internationally, and will take the initiative to mature the organization’s brand and identity.

Job Duties:

  • Lead the development of our marketing plans, working closely with clients, management, and creative teams, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services
  • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including strategy design, implementation, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
  • Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, seminars, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
  • Produce dynamic content for the organization’s online presence and publications
  • Act as the organization’s agent towards external parties, including the media, stakeholders, and potential clients

Job Specification

Applicant must have:

  • 3-12 years marketing experience
  • Strong written and verbal English
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Significant budget management knowledge

Applicant must be:

  • An analytical and creative thinker
  • Self-motivated
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices

Experience in web analytics and crowdsourcing marketing is a plus, but not required.
