The Opportunity

We are seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to join the Genomind Marketing department as a key team member responsible for writing content that captivates and engages providers and patients. They will be tasked with creating compelling written content including emails, sales collateral, social media posts, website, and infographic copy that builds trust and loyalty with Genomind’s customers.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

• Distill complex concepts into content that is easily understood and aligns with our tone of voice and value proposition in provider and patient communication.
• Incorporate SEO strategies and best practices to optimize marketing content and increase traffic to the company website.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in marketing copywriting and digital healthcare to support content development.
• Identify gaps in content and propose copy concepts in an engaging way and execute projects once they are approved.
• Assist with coordination and development of all communications needed for events including digital and printed invitations, trade show signage, etc.
• Measure and report the success of marketing materials using metrics such as website traffic, email opens, and conversions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary; remaining flexible and adaptable in work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Experience and Competencies Needed:

• Minimum 4 years of healthcare marketing experience including content writing and digital.
• Experience creating well-structured, optimized content for providers and patients.
• Familiarity with web publication software and SEO/SEM tools such as Google Analytics.
• Proven ability to weave compelling, engaging copy for any format or style.
• Willingness to take ownership and be accountable to the team to achieve objectives together.
• Proven track record of strong execution and striving for excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while embracing change and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality policies and procedures.

Working conditions:

From one of Genomind’s offices (Philadelphia or Nashville) or from home. Must possess visual and audio skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills to complete the above-listed duties.
