Marketing Assistant – Independent Contractor

Pay: Per project, with potential growth into $2,000–$4,000+/month

I’m looking for a Marketing Assistant to help bring ideas and stories to life.

This is a flexible contractor/freelance role where you’ll create social posts, write friendly, conversational copy, and design simple graphics—mainly in Canva, with Photoshop/Illustrator or basic video editing as a plus. You’ll also use AI tools (I’ll provide them) to help keep our brand voice consistent and human—never robotic. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy turning creative ideas into content, I’d LOVE to see your work.

What You’ll Work On:

• Create and schedule social media posts that feel fresh and on-brand
• Write blog posts, captions, and simple email copy
• Design graphics, posters, and marketing materials (Canva required; Photoshop/Illustrator a bonus)
• Edit short videos or reels (bonus skill)
• Make small website updates (no coding)
• Use the AI tools I provide to speed up drafts and keep the voice conversational and human
• Stay organized with project-planning tools like Slack, Monday.com, or similar

What Success Looks Like

• Social posts and graphics delivered on time and error-free
• Content that matches our warm, conversational brand voice—even when AI is involved
• Clean, on-brand designs that rarely need heavy revisions

What I’m Hoping You Bring

• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• Experience with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or similar platforms
• Comfort designing in Canva (Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus)
• Good writing skills and a natural feel for storytelling
• Familiarity with AI tools and a knack for using them to create content that feels personal, not robotic
• A self-starter mindset—you keep projects moving without hand-holding
• Teachable, curious, and open to feedback
