About Our Client
My client is a leading global aerospace supplier based near Roselle, IL. They have a very exciting customer base primarily in the aerospace and industrial equipment industries, and are in a strong period of growth. They are ISO9001 and AS9100 certified and are looking to bring on an experience Manufacturing Engineer with CNC programming capabilities to be a key player for their Chicagoland production operations.
Job Description
- Receive and interpret customer blueprints, and determine feasibility of manufacturing based on in-house capabilities
- Design manufacturing process from start to finish - determine machines necessary, implement GD&T, establish SOPs, and generate CNC programs
- Troubleshoot production issues as necessary
- Play a key role in the site's problem solving teams to identify root cause of any production issues
- Identify necessary tooling & fixturing as needed for production
- Drive continuous improvement of milling, grinding, and EDM processes

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred - can be made up for with extensive experience
- Minimum 3+ years experience in a machining environment
- Experience with milling, grinding, EDM
- Knowledge of CNC programming - MasterCAM software preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
