Role Description:

Capital Q® Ventures Inc. is actively seeking a results-driven Managing Director for Alternative Investment Distributions to join our team in Maitland, FL on a full-time basis. In this critical role, the Managing Director will take charge of the day-to-day operations related to the distribution of our alternative investment products. This includes managing relationships with institutional investors, financial advisors, and broker-dealers, negotiating contracts, formulating effective sales strategies, and overseeing the due diligence process for new investors.

 

As a valued member of our Fund Distribution team, this individual will collaborate closely with the Executive Team to advance our mission of distributing innovative alternative investment platforms. Your role will be instrumental in supporting the alternative investments distribution function, where your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the Capital Q® Associates Team, providing expert guidance on the alternative investment offerings available on our platform.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish and nurture new, trusted partnerships with Capital Q® Private Advisors as an Alternative Investment Specialist, offering insights across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, private real assets, and direct investment opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of all Capital Q® investment solutions across the Opportunistic Investing platform. Collaborate with Fund Management on Private Advisor coverage, engage in hosting monthly live and virtual workshops, educational seminars, and group and one-on-one client meetings.
  • Lead proactive outreach efforts to onboard new Investors at Capital Q®, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our product suite and best practices for implementation.
  • Assist in promptly addressing inbound inquiries regarding product clarifications, fund updates, performance inquiries, and other matters to enhance advisor and client experiences.
  • Play a pivotal role in coordinating the efforts of third-party partners for regional travel, including roadshows and educational events.
  • Contribute to the creation of product summaries, talking points, and presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across departments with product development, manager selection, and operations teams to assess demand, refine marketing materials, and enhance our platform.
  • Provide strategic and tactical guidance for the development and implementation of the Company’s alternative investment offerings, driving efficient and effective business growth.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Substantial experience in Investment Management, Investments, and Finance.
  • Profound knowledge of Institutional Allocators.
  • Expertise in intermediaries and third-party distribution platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft investment strategies.
  • Proven experience in conducting due diligence on potential investments.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A talent for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • A blend of competitiveness, confidence, humility, and approachability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
