Leasing Manager/Assistant Community Manager opportunity to join a dynamic team! We're looking for someone who's friendly, organized and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year Leasing experience, strong attention to detail and excellent office and time-management skills.
- Meeting with prospective tenants, taking them on tours of the units they are interested in and highlighting the benefits of the units and property
- Preparing and executing lease documents according to property standards and regulations
- Conducting credit and background checks to qualify potential tenants
- Confirming information and references provided by potential tenants on the application
- Collecting application fees and security deposits from potential tenants and monthly rental payments from existing tenants
- Negotiating lease renewals, including communicating changes in prices or terms
- Coordinating any necessary property maintenance and resolving tenant complaints
- Informing residents of any changes to their rental agreement or upcoming events or issues associated with the property
- Creating marketing and promotional materials to advertise vacant units on the property
- Assisting the Property Manager with additional responsibilities
