This position requires an individual who appreciates working within brand guidelines, demonstrates creativity and delivers quality work product on time in a fast-paced, professional work environment. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is a recent graduate from a design school or program, who has strong conceptual design skills and a portfolio that demonstrates that, can handle high pressure situations, has good time management skills and can take on projects with minimal direction. Assignments include printed and website promotional material such as brochures, ads, signage, invitations, web content, newsletters and PowerPoint presentations. This position can be based in New York or Houston and will report to the Senior Manager, Brand and Creative.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design and produce written and electronic communications following firm’s branding standards
  • Create non-branded written and electronic items
  • Work with and maintain firm’s image database
  • Coordinate production of print materials and press files with vendors
  • Manage firm’s client newsletter production and distribution process
  • Ensure consistency while maintaining the firm’s image and identity
  • Participate in strategic discussions and provide creative solutions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum one year in professional commercial design, preferably within a corporate environment, professional services, or a law firm
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, XD)
  • Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premier, After Effects)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of design trends and history
  • Knowledge of interactive media
  • Ability to work within and maintain brand standards
  • Ability to think strategically to provide solutions
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a deadline-sensitive and fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Strong production skills
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service-orientation

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The full time base annual salary for this position in the New York City market is expected to range between $50,000 and $55,000. This range represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for a position in New York City. Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
