Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless and user-friendly mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the Android stack.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Work with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs to integrate backend services.
• Stay current with new mobile technology trends, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Android application development.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Components, MVVM architecture, and Material Design principles.
• Experience with Android Jetpack libraries (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room).
• Solid understanding of mobile app security, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Unit Testing and UI Testing (Espresso/JUnit).
• Familiar with Google Play Store publishing, crash reporting tools (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics), and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
