IT Field Technician – Cabling Experience

We are currently seeking an IT Field Technician to join our intentionally collaborative team.

What You’ll Do:

• Work on-site with clients to troubleshoot PC Hardware, software, operating systems, networks, backup and recovery, and firewalls
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals and software applications including network video recorders
• Mount equipment such as cameras, network racks, televisions, and network access points.
• Identify cable pathways, install cable supports, and terminate and certify cables
• Provide a great customer service experience and track all work in a ticketing system

Skills you’ll need:

• Strong interpersonal skills, positive mentality, and ability to change tasks rapidly—as a service business, we expect the unexpected to disrupt our plans.
• 3+ years related experience with hardware, software, cloud, and line of business applications
• Knowledge of low-voltage cabling standards, types, and usage scenarios, basic building structure concepts, and voice/data cable networks
• Familiarity with ethernet copper cable testers, cable toner/tracers, telephone test sets, and hand tools
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation:

• Salary is expected to start at $25-30/hr and is scalable based upon experience
