Industry subject matter experts will teach you, and then you will teach our learners—in just 300 words in the form of text-based learning objects. Topics range from bribery and drug cartels to terrorism and cryptoasset tracing, always with something more to explore. If you’re smart and you write well, you should be successful.

• Fast learner able to learn a completely new-to-you concept in just a few minutes of training from a subject matter expert
• Curious, logical thinker who can identify gaps and inconsistencies well enough to ask good follow-up questions to a subject matter expert
• Clear, organized writer able to effectively teach someone a concept you just learned
• Keen attention to detail, including the ability and willingness to work within fixed constraints
• Self-motivated, self-managing with remote supervisor
• Available for frequent meetings in the US Eastern time zone
• General technical skills and aptitude, being a quick self-learner of all the technology ACAMS uses now (including Xyleme, MS Office, Webex, Monday, SmartSheet, LMS, Salesforce, ACAMS.org, etc.) and in the future
• 3 years of developing adult learning, process training, business blog posts, etc.
• 3 years of contacting, securing, and managing external and internal resources
• Portfolio available for review by ACAMS
• These attributes are a plus:
  • Experience as a variable-compensated consultant or self-employed
  • Experience in learning object design—especially discrete and reusable objects
  • Bachelor’s degree
