Inside Sales Associate, Irvine CA

[Full Time] Start Date: ASAP

Wage: Basic Salary + Commission + Bonus

In collaboration with order processing, the inside sales associate is dedicated to generating revenue. As an inside Sales Account Manager, you will source new sales opportunities, onboard new wholesale accounts, and close sales. The inside sales associate will play a key role in increasing revenue by generating leads and promoting products. This position does require communicating with customers via phone, email, etc.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Seek out prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Stay current on existing and emerging products and technology.
  • Generate profitable sales orders.
  • Close sales from inbound leads, as well as researching, developing, and closing cold leads.
  • Manage your sales leads, calendar, and time to efficiently meet monthly sales goals.
  • Maintains ethical, cooperative relationships consistent with company image and company goals in the marketplace.
  • Develop an effective and productive working relationship with Inside Sales staff and support personnel.
  • Determine customer needs and propose appropriate products and/or solutions.
  • Inform customers of all relevant company policies/procedures and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as instructed or required to successfully complete tasks.
  • Consistently meet and /or exceed goals.

Successful candidates will have:

  • At Least one year of B2B sales experience.
  • Experience in the Electronic Cigarette (vape) Industry preferred.
  • 3+ years of inside or outside sales experience.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Sufficient experience with Microsoft Office™ Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • CRM Experience (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Effective communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills.
  • Superior phone and email etiquette and ability to deal effectively with internal or external customers, peers, and management.
  • Work well under pressure and maintain professionalism during stressful situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment that requires the ability to multi-task and implement high-priority initiatives.
