We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our Fortune 15 Healthcare Client. This role is ideal for an individual with a deep professional knowledge of Middleware solutions, who can provide expert content and demonstrate a strong professional work ethic on complex infrastructure assignments and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expert Content Delivery: Provide expert content and professional work ethic on complex infrastructure assignments and projects.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, and customer expectations.
• Design and Development: Involved in the creation of design specifications and the development and application of utility programs; resolve infrastructure compatibility problems as they arise.
• Middleware Technologies: Work with various Middleware solutions including but not limited to IBM WebSphere, IBM Liberty, IBM HTTP Server, JBoss, EAP (Enterprise Application Platform), Tomcat, IIS, and Ansible.
• Communication: Provide clear and thorough communication with peers and leadership on current projects; identify and call out any issues and/or blockers that are hindering the completion of assigned tasks.
• Creativity and Judgment: Exercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in delivering initiatives.
• Thought Leadership: Use deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders and focus on providing thought leadership within Infrastructure Engineering; work on broader projects that require an understanding of the wider business.

Required Skills and Experience:

• IBM WebSphere ND: Advanced knowledge and experience in IBM WebSphere ND.
• IBM HTTP Server: Proficient in IBM HTTP Server management and troubleshooting.
• IBM Liberty: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with IBM Liberty.
• IIS: Experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).
• JBoss: Proficient in working with JBoss application server.
• EAP: Experience with Enterprise Application Platform (EAP).
• Tomcat: Strong skills in Apache Tomcat.
• Ansible/Automation: Proficient in Ansible for automation and configuration management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to exercise creativity, foresight, and judgment in delivering initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership and advise functional leaders.
