Management Information Systems Manager - Full time

 

Responsibilities

1. Point of Sale (POS) System Management:

◦ Oversee the implementation and management of Point of Sale (POS) systems in retail store locations.

◦ Ensure the efficiency and reliability of POS systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements.

 

2. Server Management:

◦ Manage servers located in the headquarters, ensuring optimal performance, security, and data integrity.

◦ Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for server systems.

 

3. Loyalty Rewards Program:

◦ Administer and enhance the loyalty rewards program through the development and maintenance of dedicated applications.

◦ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the user experience and drive customer engagement.

 

4. Integration of Delivery/Service Providers:

◦ Facilitate the integration of delivery or service providers (e.g., GrubHub, UberEats) with existing systems.

◦ Ensure seamless communication between the company's platforms and external service providers.

 

5. Data Management and Security:

◦ Develop and implement data management strategies, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance with privacy regulations.

◦ Monitor and respond to data security threats, implementing preventative measures to safeguard sensitive information.

 

6. Collaboration and Team Leadership:

◦ Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to execute IT strategies aligned with business goals.

◦ Provide leadership and guidance to IT staff, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

 

7. Project Management:

◦ Lead IT projects related to system upgrades, integrations, and technology implementations.

◦ Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

 

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in managing POS systems, servers, and loyalty rewards programs.

• Strong knowledge of data management, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience in integrating with delivery or service providers in a retail environment.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

• Leadership skills to guide and motivate a team in achieving IT goals.
