As Quorum's part-time Help Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing front line help desk support and management of all software/systems used by Quorum. You will be expected to troubleshoot software and system issues for team members to help support a productive workforce. You will also assist with onboarding and offboarding team members and managing other IT related tasks as assigned by your manager.

What You'll Do

  • First Week: You'll learn the ins and outs of the current IT Support person processes and workflows and get to know the team members that you'll be working closely with.
  • First Month: You'll take ownership of a variety of IT Support person tasks including tracking assets, ordering/shipping new equipment to new hires, facilitating all onboarding/offboarding requests, wiping laptops and granting access to Quorum accounts. You will also be assigned IT support tickets to troubleshoot and respond to.
  • First Six Months: You'll participate in streamlining application utilization and educating end users on functionality.
  • First Year: You'll support Quorum's IT Support person function successfully as we continue to scale and enable our workforce.

About You

  • You have 1+ years of experience working in a help desk or technical support role; or customer service experience with technical education or knowledge.
  • You are located in commutable distance to our DC office since the position is hybrid, requiring time in the office.
  • You are committed to making a meaningful impact in providing daily support to Quorum team members through all communication channels.
  • You are an especially competitive candidate if you have prior experience providing overall IT Support within an organization.
  • You are a superstar if you have excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis of computer hardware/software systems.
  • You love working with technology and are passionate about supporting team members to help solve their everyday problems.
  • And, of course, you're a highly-motivated self-starter that is eager to contribute to the team from Day One.

About the Software Development Team

  • We're a fast-growing team that is dedicated to improving our people, processes, and platform. The nearly 400 person team is composed of different functions including software engineering, Product Management, Product Design, QA, Devops/SRE and an Information Security team.
  • We support many different products but internally think of them as one system with a single unified codebase. Our goal is to build centralized systems that handle complex problems for multiple features and products.

Our Work Environment

  • We are a hybrid team with flexible work options: work remotely or choose to come into our vibrant, sunlit space in our modern, open concept office in Washington DC.

Compensation Structure

  • $22 - $30/hr (commensurate with experience)
