• Franmar is looking for a full time Graphic Artist / Multimedia Artist to help tell the story of our safe, environmentally-friendly products, which replace harmful chemicals commonly used in the screen printing, home remodeling, and construction industries.

Franmar is a small, family-owned business founded in Bloomington, IL. Together, we’re a friendly, collaborative team. This Graphic Artist / Multimedia Artist role provides opportunities to learn on the job, build a portfolio, and impact Franmar’s branding decisions. The Graphic Artist / Multimedia Artist will also contribute to the eventual redesign of our website.

Our typical work hours are 9:00 - 5:00 PM, Monday though Friday, at our facility in Bloomington, Illinois, though some remote work and schedule flexibility is also possible. Travel to trade shows throughout the U.S. is possible, based on skills, interest, and competing workload, among other factors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the production of:
• 1) Product how-to videos and advertisements
• 2) Product literature such as catalogs and technical sheets
• 3) In-store displays and signage
• 4) Ad materials for trade magazines and sites such as Old House Journal and Graphics Pro
• 5) Trade show banners
• 6) Promotional web content
• Maintain production of product labels (editing, ordering, keeping inventory)
• Oversee marketing development:
• 1) Scheduling ads across digital platforms like YouTube and social media
• 2) Negotiating contracts with publishers
• 3) Researching new marketing opportunities
• 4) Tracking analytics and building reports
• 5) Sending out new promotional material to Franmar's dealers
• Stage and take product photos (commercial photography experience is a plus)
• Help develop ad content for social media and help maintain Franmar’s social media presence
• Maintain upkeep of Franmar's website (product pages and blog)
• Assist with prep for trade shows

Requirements:

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Experienced in recording and editing video (we use Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro)
• Marketing experience or education is a plus
• Photography experience is a plus
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Promotional writing skills are a plus
• Familiarity with Shopify is a plus
• College degree or associate degree preferred
