Location: This position is fully remote but limited to applicants residing in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming.

Snail Games USA is actively seeking talented Game AI Engineer & Large Language Model (LLM) Developer to join our Flexi Game Engine Development team. Upon mastering our in-depth training on our MMO engine, you will be instrumental in maintaining the AI experience within our game, wielding your expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms, model engineering, and prompt engineering technology. Your contributions will shape the very essence of our game, enhancing its functionality and performance through the integration of cutting-edge AI language models.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design and maintenance of the AI system in the game.

  • Expertise in NLP algorithms, model engineering, and prompt engineering technology.

  • Plays a crucial role in shaping the functionality and performance of AI language models in the game.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of programming experience with 2+ years of relevant working experience in NLP models, prompt engineering, or conversational AI.

  • Experience deploying NLP models in a production environment and collaborating with software engineering teams on AI-related projects.

  • Solid computer and math foundation, familiar with various data structures and algorithms, and strong logic ability is required.

  • Familiar with programming languages such as C/C++, etc.

  • Familiar with the basic theoretical knowledge and techniques of game AI

  • Familiar with natural language processing (NLP) with experience using large language models (LLM), capable of fine-tuning and developing open-source models to meet specific requirements.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in game AI-related development

  • Experience in developing and using the Unreal Engine or Unity Engine

  • Passion for video games, strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and a team player

  • Published papers and contributed to open-source projects related to large language models.

 

 

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
